We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join our friendly and professional team at our Main Dealer site in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with previous franchised dealership experience to take the next step in their aftersales career.

Role Overview:

As a Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our customers in the service department, delivering excellent service and support from drop-off to collection. You'll be working closely with technicians and other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and manage check-in/out process.
  • Accurately capture customer concerns and relay information to technicians.
  • Advise customers on required or recommended repairs.
  • Discuss service and repair options including OEM and aftermarket solutions.
  • Keep customers informed of service progress and expected completion times.
  • Prepare accurate invoices and explain work carried out.
  • Handle warranty queries and provide cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Alternate Saturdays: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM (paid at overtime rate)

What We Offer

  • Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 (depending on experience)
  • On-target earnings: £32,000 – £34,000
  • Overtime pay for Saturdays
  • 30 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)

About You

  • Prior experience as a Service Advisor in a main dealer environment is essential
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Confident with IT systems and dealership management software

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence
  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
  • No unspent criminal convictions
