Vacancy: Apprentice Service Advisor – Clarks of Stourbridge MG

Clarks of Stourbridge MG, a successful family-run franchise dealer, is looking for a motivated Apprentice Service Advisor to join our aftersales team. This is an excellent opportunity to start a rewarding career in the automotive industry, with full manufacturer training provided.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an Apprentice Service Advisor, you will be trained to provide excellent customer service and support the service department's daily operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming customers to the service department and assisting with their enquiries.
• Learning to coordinate with technicians to understand repair needs and service requirements.
• Providing customers with information on available service options and parts.
• Gaining knowledge on warranty protections and cost-saving solutions.
• Helping to manage workshop scheduling and workflow.
• Notifying customers about service updates and vehicle collection times.
• Developing communication skills to liaise effectively with customers, technicians, and senior management.
• Supporting administrative duties within the service department.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A keen interest in the automotive industry.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (preferred but not essential).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• The ability to work well in a team and build good relationships with customers and colleagues.
• A full clean UK driving licence (preferred but not essential for apprenticeship applicants).

This role is ideal for a school leaver or someone looking to develop a career in automotive customer service. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided.
